Polypropylene wheels are manufactured by injection moulding of high-quality thermoplastic resin. The material is characterised by low rolling resistance, good load capacity and high resistance to impact. Polypropylene is lightweight, dimensionally stable, and resistant to many chemical agents, including acids, alkalis and solvents.
Polypropylene wheels are also corrosion-resistant and suitable for applications in humid or aggressive environments. They offer quiet running on smooth floors, but are less suited to uneven or rough surfaces, where vibrations and reduced comfort may occur.
