Polyamide 6 products, commonly known as Nylon®, are thermoplastics manufactured by injection moulding. Thanks to its low coefficient of friction, polyamide 6 ensures excellent rolling properties. It features high tensile strength, low wear and long service life, combined with insensitivity to chemical and atmospheric agents. Its low specific weight gives polyamide 6 products a reduced overall weight. The material also offers excellent colourability.
Polyamide 6, 30% glass fibre reinforced
Polyamide 6 reinforced with 30% glass fibre is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic. It combines the strength and rigidity typical of engineering plastics with the outstanding mechanical properties provided by glass fibre reinforcement. This formulation ensures excellent dimensional stability, superior resistance to tensile, compressive and flexural stress, and a remarkable ability to withstand both static and dynamic loads even under demanding conditions.
